Big news for digital movie collectors: Lionsgate is officially joining Movies Anywhere, the cloud-based service that lets you buy and watch films across multiple platforms. Starting next month, fans will be able to add over 200 Lionsgate titles to their digital libraries, including major franchises like John Wick, The Hunger Games, and Quentin Tarantino classics.

Movies Anywhere, which began as Disney Movies Anywhere in 2014, has since partnered with Sony, Universal, and Warner Bros. Unlike streaming subscriptions, this service lets you actually own the movies you purchase and watch them on any connected device. Lionsgate had previously been part of the now-defunct Ultraviolet service but never migrated its library over—until now.

What’s Coming to Movies Anywhere?

The initial rollout includes 225 films, with highlights like John Wick (all four films), The Hunger Games series, La La Land, Dirty Dancing, Knives Out, Rambo, and Passion of the Christ. Tarantino fans will get Django Unchained, Reservoir Dogs, and both Kill Bill volumes. The box-office juggernaut Michael, which has grossed nearly $800 million globally, will be added after its theatrical run ends.

Lionsgate plans to add roughly 100 more movies each month through early 2027, eventually bringing the total Movies Anywhere library to nearly 10,000 titles. That’s a massive expansion for fans who want to own their favorites without worrying about rotating streaming catalogs.

Upcoming Lionsgate Releases to Watch

Further out, expect the Hunger Games prequel Sunrise on the Reaping, the John Wick spin-off Caine, the action prequel John Rambo, and The Housemaid’s Secret.
