Guy Ritchie is a filmmaker who never rests on his laurels. After a string of theatrical releases that didn't quite set the box office on fire, he pivoted to streaming with remarkable success. His executive-produced series The Gentlemen, MobLand, and Young Sherlock have all been renewed for second seasons, proving his Midas touch extends to the small screen. In 2025, he directed his first streaming movie, the $180 million action-adventure Fountain of Youth, which was meant to launch a franchise but stumbled with critics. Yet Ritchie, ever the pragmatist, has already moved on to three new theatrical projects.

Among these is Viva La Madness, a spiritual sequel to Layer Cake that reunites him with frequent collaborator Jason Statham. Before that, he'll release Wife & Dog, a dark comedy starring Rosamund Pike, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anthony Hopkins, and Cosmo Jarvis, slated for October 2026. But the first of his upcoming trio to hit theaters is In the Grey, an action thriller that brings Ritchie back together with Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Eiza González.
