The holiday season has a way of bringing people together—sometimes in the most unexpected ways. Whether it's rekindling old romances, navigating awkward family dinners, or embracing the chaos that comes with everyone under one roof, Christmas movies thrive on that blend of warmth and unpredictability. And when you add a cast of Britain's finest actors, you've got the recipe for a new festive favorite.
Collider is thrilled to debut an exclusive clip from Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint, the upcoming holiday comedy-drama starring John Bradley, Celia Imrie, Richard E. Grant, and Sophia Di Martino. Directed by Jack Spring, the film hits theaters on November 6, just in time to kick off the season of cheer.
In our sneak peek, Bradley—best known for his role as Samwell Tarly in Game of Thrones—is seen decked out in full festive attire, wandering through a magical toy shop filled with twinkling lights, ornate decorations, and shelves stacked with seasonal treasures. It's the kind of scene that instantly puts you in the holiday spirit, reminding us why we love these movies so much.
The film follows a relatable protagonist trying to balance complicated family dynamics and a budding romance, all while the magic of Christmas works its charm. It's a story about second chances, forgiveness, and the joy of finding light in the darkest winter days.
Joining Bradley are some seriously impressive talents. Celia Imrie, known for Bridget Jones's Diary and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, brings her signature wit. Richard E. Grant, an Oscar nominee for Can You Ever Forgive Me? and recent star of the UK's The Traitors, adds his unique flair. Sophia Di Martino, who played Sylvie in Marvel's Loki, rounds out the leads—and fun fact, Grant also appeared as a Loki variant in that series, so they're no strangers to sharing the screen.
The supporting cast includes Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton), Adrian Rawlins (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), and Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Ghosts). Written by Chris Boyle-McQuarry and produced by Andy Brunskill, with Damian Jones and Paul Grindey as executive producers, the film runs approximately 98 minutes and is currently unrated.
