It's been over 15 years since the Final Jam, but Camp Rock is finally tuning up for a long-awaited encore. The beloved Disney Channel franchise that launched Demi Lovato and solidified the Jonas Brothers as pop icons is back this summer with Camp Rock 3. This time, a new generation of talented young artists arrives at the iconic summer camp, ready to follow in the footsteps of Mitchie Torres and her friends. The Jonas Brothers reprise their roles as Connect 3, but they're not just performing—they're searching for a fresh act to join their reunion tour. As part of Collider's Exclusive Summer Preview series, we're thrilled to debut two new images that introduce the latest stars ready to rock.
Our first still captures the ensemble of campers jamming together on the bus ride to their summer getaway. At the heart of Camp Rock 3 are siblings Sage and Desi, played by Liamani Segura (known from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) and newcomer Hudson Stone. They quickly bond with their musically inclined peers, including the camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton) with his guitar, cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack), and drummer Cliff (Casey Trotter), who marches to his own beat. Like the original films, romance is also in the air—this time by the docks, echoing the connection between Mitchie and Shane (Joe Jonas).
The return to Camp Rock sparks new friendships, good-natured rivalries, and love stories, but the tension escalates when Connect 3 arrives at their old stomping grounds. Their tour is in trouble after losing their opening act, so they decide the camp that made them stars is the perfect place to find the next big thing. As the campers compete to impress their idols, bonds are tested, surprising alliances form, bitter feuds ignite, and revelations come to light that could change their lives forever.
Camp Rock 3 Brings Together New and Familiar Faces
Camp Rock 3 isn't the only music-themed project for the Jonas Brothers lately. Nick Jonas also stars as a washed-up boy band member in the revenge comedy Power Ballad with Paul Rudd, which recently hit theaters to rave reviews. Now, years removed from their DCOM days, Joe, Kevin, and Nick play grown-up versions of their characters, handing the spotlight to the newcomers. The young cast also includes Brooklynn Pitts and Ava Jean, while Joy Ride's Sherry Cola joins the fun and Maria Canals-Barrera returns as Mitchie's mother, Connie. Though Demi Lovato won't be singing "This Is Me" again, she's involved as an executive producer alongside the Jonas Brothers. The film is directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye, the duo behind The Slumber Party.
