Warner Bros. and DC Studios are inviting fans to become superheroes this spring with the launch of a major new interactive attraction. Titled "Superman Experience: Defenders Unite," the immersive walk-through opens on April 18 at Stage 5 on the historic Warner Bros. Studio lot in Hollywood, perfectly timed for Superman Day celebrations.

Step Into the DC Universe

This isn't your typical studio tour stop. The experience plunges visitors directly into the world of James Gunn's DC Universe, specifically the vibrant reality established in last year's blockbuster Superman film. Guests won't just be observers; they'll be active participants recruited by Clark Kent himself for a critical mission. Using cutting-edge technology like motion capture, active 3D glasses, and high-definition audio, the attraction promises to make everyone feel like they've developed Kryptonian abilities.

Sylvester Stallone's iconic John Rambo is back with a new 4K collection of all five films and a prequel movie in development, promising to introduce the one-man army to a new generation.

An Original Story to Save Metropolis

The adventure begins in the Fortress of Solitude, where Superman enlists help to face one of his most formidable foes—Darkseid, a villain yet to appear in the new DCU films. After a crash course in using their newfound powers, which includes a visit to the Kent Farm for training with the super-dog Krypto, guests join Superman in the skies. The climax is a cooperative battle over Metropolis, with Earth's fate hanging in the balance. While working together, the experience also tracks individual scores, adding a layer of friendly competition to see who can be the most heroic.

The central hub, designed after Superman's icy headquarters, is packed with additional activities. Fans can interact with a life-sized animatronic of Gary (Robot #4), play catch with Krypto, or experiment with a Phantom Zone projector. Themed food and drinks will be available to keep energy levels high, and a dedicated merchandise store styled after The Daily Planet will offer exclusive souvenirs. One standout item is a new comic, Superman: Defenders Unite, written by Blue Beetle scribe Josh Trujillo with art by Bernard Chang, available only at the event.

Connecting DC's Legacy and Future

Danny Kahn, Vice President of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, highlighted the attraction as a bridge between Superman's rich history and its exciting future under James Gunn's guidance. "Superman Experience offers guests a unique opportunity to step into the world of DC’s storytelling in an incredibly fun and immersive way," Kahn stated. "This new attraction unites Global Experiences, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, and DC Studios, so fans can create memories while celebrating the world’s greatest Super Hero."

The launch comes as the DCU continues to expand. Following the success of Superman, which grossed over $618 million worldwide, the next chapter arrives this summer with Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow on June 26. The universe's future is packed, including the highly anticipated sequel Superman: Man of Tomorrow set for 2027. This immersive experience allows fans to engage with this growing saga in a completely new, physical way.

"Superman Experience: Defenders Unite" will operate as a separate attraction from the main Warner Bros. Studio Tour, though tickets can be added to a tour package. Its opening signifies a growing trend of blending cinematic storytelling with live, interactive fan experiences.
