All aboard the Glamazonian Express—if you dare. RuPaul, the Emmy-shattering host of RuPaul's Drag Race, is trading the Werk Room for a runaway locomotive in the upcoming disaster comedy Stop! That! Train!. The film, which blends the absurdity of Airplane! with the glittery chaos of drag culture, just dropped a sneak peek that promises a wild ride.

In Stop! That! Train!, best friends and former train stewardesses Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee) find themselves jobless after the closure of their dreary employer, Stank Rail. But luck—or misfortune—lands them positions on the opulent Glamazonian Express, where luxury meets efficiency. Their first shift turns catastrophic when a 'Stormaganza' sends the high-speed train hurtling toward Los Angeles. Tess and DeeDee must reluctantly team up with snooty first-class attendants to steer the screaming death trap to safety.

John Early's Directorial Debut 'Maddie's Secret' Reveals First Look: A Food Influencer's Hidden Battle
Get an exclusive first look at 'Maddie's Secret,' John Early's directorial debut about a food influencer hiding her bulimia. Starring Kate Berlant and Kristen Johnston, the film arrives June 19, 2026.

Enter RuPaul as President Judy Gagwell, ready to deliver a 'presidential address' that might just save the day. The film is a raucous parody of disaster movies, marking the first cinematic extension of the Drag Race universe. Directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray, The Wedding Planner), the movie is produced by World of Wonder and written by Christina Friel and Connor Wright.

Shankman described the film as a modern counterpart to Mel Brooks' work—'unapologetically queer' but not targeting anyone. 'It's interesting to see how we managed to thread that needle without taking down anyone,' he told NewsWeek. 'We were just generally satirical, taking on the old disaster movies.' He emphasized that the leads are characters, not drag queens, avoiding politicization.

The cast is a who's who of Drag Race royalty and LGBTQ+ icons, including Latrice Royale, Symone, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Monét X Change, Matt Rogers, Rachel Bloom, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Cameos include Michelle Visage, Raven-Symoné, Chris Parnell, Charo, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Natasha Leggero, Lisa Rinna, Joel McHale, and Sarah Michelle Gellar as herself—though no one on the train recognizes her.
