CBS's newest supernatural sitcom, Eternally Yours, is already making waves after its premiere, and fans of the network's other ghostly comedy have plenty to look forward to. At New York Comic Con, the cast and creators shared exciting news about upcoming guest stars and a festive holiday episode.

The show, created by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, follows a coven of 500-year-old vampires led by married couple Charles (Ed Weeks) and Liz (Allegra Edwards) as they try to fit into modern-day Seattle. Their carefully constructed normal life gets complicated when their daughter Emma (Helen J. Shen) starts dating a human boy (Jaren Lewison).

Why Harlan Coben's 'Missing You' Is the Netflix Thriller to Binge This Weekend
If you loved James Nesbitt in 'Run Away,' check out his darker role in 'Missing You'—a twisty 5-episode Harlan Coben thriller that's ideal for a weekend binge.

During the panel, which was shared with the cast of Ghosts, the Eternally Yours team dropped some big casting news. Tim Meadows, known for his roles in Mean Girls and Saturday Night Live, will guest star as Doctor Edwards, a wisecracking vampire dentist who treats the Blythe family. His character promises to bring a sharp, comedic edge to the series.

Fans of Ghosts will also recognize two familiar faces. Asif Ali, who played Jay's cousin and Hetty's romantic interest on the other show, will appear as Igor, a humorless vampire bureaucrat who takes the rules of the Vampire Council very seriously. Jeff Hiller, another Ghosts alum, will return as Aldrict, an old-world vampire with a mischievous streak who has crossed paths with Liz over the centuries.

The panel also addressed a lingering question from the pilot: Phyllis (Rose Abdoo) has been repeatedly mind-wiped to keep her from discovering she married into a vampire family. The cast confirmed that Phyllis will finally learn the truth early in the season, setting up new dynamics and plenty of comedic chaos.

In addition to the guest stars, the show will celebrate the holidays with a Christmas special in December. Viewers will learn that Jesse (Parker Young) is obsessed with Christmas, and Charles will have to navigate an office Secret Santa exchange while still trying to make human friends with Liz's help. It's a perfect blend of holiday cheer and vampire hijinks.

For those keeping track of the schedule, Eternally Yours airs Thursdays at 8:30 PM ET on CBS, leading into Ghosts when it returns. Ghosts Season 6 will premiere with a one-hour Halloween special on October 29 at 9 PM ET, followed by a one-hour Christmas special on December 10. The rest of the season will resume in early 2027, though an exact date hasn't been announced.
