Get ready to see a whole new side of two British icons. In an exclusive sneak peek from the upcoming film Moss & Freud, Ellie Bamber transforms into supermodel Kate Moss, while Derek Jacobi brings painter Lucian Freud to life in a scene that's equal parts awkward and hilarious.

The clip, which ShowtimeSpot is thrilled to share, finds Moss and Freud dining at a restaurant. When Freud notices a fellow patron trying to snap a secret photo of the tabloid-famous model, he doesn't just ask him to stop—he hurls potatoes at the guy. Moss watches in shock, then amusement, as the elderly artist confronts the would-be paparazzo. It's a perfect snapshot of their unlikely bond.

Gerard Butler Teams with John Wick Producer for World Cup Thriller 'The Nest'
Gerard Butler is set to star in 'The Nest,' a high-octane action thriller from John Wick producer Thunder Road, where he'll play a sniper racing to save his family and 70,000 fans at a World Cup match.

Directed and written by James Lucas—who won an Oscar for his short film The Phone CallMoss & Freud tells the true story of how two very different British legends came together in 2002. Moss, then one of the most photographed women in the world, agreed to pose for Freud, a notoriously press-shy painter and grandson of Sigmund Freud. Their collaboration produced a nude portrait that became one of the most talked-about artworks of the 20th century.

The film also stars Jasmine Blackborow as Freud's daughter, fashion designer Bella Freud; Tim Downie as artist David Dawson; and Will Tudor as curator Jefferson Hack. It's set to hit digital and video-on-demand on May 12 via Cineverse.

Bamber, known for her roles in Red, White & Royal Blue and The Serpent, fully commits to capturing Moss's iconic early-2000s runway energy. The clip includes a montage of Moss's fashion work, with Bamber recreating some of the model's most memorable moments.
