Thirty years after they first revved onto screens and store shelves, the Biker Mice From Mars are back with a vengeance—and a brand-new villain. The cult-classic sci-fi series has roared into a new era thanks to a hit comic book run at Oni Press and a collectible action figure line from Nacelle. Now, a fresh face is racing into the mythos: Scorch, a former ally turned deadly foe. Her solo comic miniseries hits stores this August, and fans can bring her home as an action figure. We've got the exclusive first look at the collectible.

Who Is Scorch?

Scorch is the latest addition to the Biker Mice From Mars universe. Once a trusted comrade of Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie, she betrayed them to side with the alien Plutarkians—the fish-like species that turned Mars into a wasteland. After her debut in Oni Press' Biker Mice From Mars comics, she's getting her own miniseries, Biker Mice From Mars: Scorch, arriving this August. She also makes history as the first comics-original character to join Nacelle's action figure line.

What Is Biker Mice From Mars?

In the show's universe, Mars is home to rodent-like humanoids with a love for loud vehicles. The Plutarkians, a plundering fish species, nearly wiped them out. Three survivors—leader Throttle, cyborg Modo, and hothead Vinnie—escape to Earth, befriend Chicago mechanic Charley Davidson, and battle the Plutarkians' Earth-based frontman, Lawrence Limburger. The original series ran from 1993 to 1996, with a revival in 2006.

Nacelle has revived several '80s and '90s properties, aiming to build a shared universe. Other titles include Robo Force, Sectaurs, Power Lords, and The Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa. For more on retro revivals, check out our coverage of Heroes Returns to Netflix and X-Men '97 Season 2.
