Prime Video has officially renewed Reacher for a sixth season, locking in the future of one of its most-watched franchises well before the fifth season even hits the air. The early pickup signals serious confidence in Alan Ritchson's take on Lee Child's wandering avenger.
The numbers back up that faith. Season 4 of Reacher pulled in a staggering 66 million viewers globally within its first 28 days, surpassing the already-impressive performance of Season 3. That puts Season 4 among the five most-watched seasons of any original series in Prime Video history. All three returning seasons of the show now rank as the platform's three most-watched returning seasons ever, and the series has amassed over 200 million viewers worldwide since its 2022 debut.
The audience is also becoming more international. 58% of viewers now come from outside the United States, with particularly strong showings in the U.K., Germany, and Brazil. That global reach is a big reason why Amazon MGM Studios is eager to keep the momentum going.

Ritchson leads a cast that includes Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Robertson.
Meanwhile, Season 5 is already deep into production in Toronto. Prime Video had previously renewed the show for a fifth season ahead of Season 4's premiere, and that next chapter will adapt Make Me, the 20th Reacher novel — one that Child himself has admitted is notoriously tricky to bring to the screen.
