As Halloween approaches, Prime Video's lineup is packed with spooky and compelling options. While The Terminal List has reclaimed the top spot with its second season, there's plenty more to explore. Here are three standout series to add to your watchlist this week.

Helluva Boss (2019–Present)

Created by Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano, Helluva Boss is an adult animated black comedy musical that shares a universe with her other hit, Hazbin Hotel. The show follows an assassination company in Hell—the Immediate Murder Professionals (IMPs)—as they navigate chaotic misadventures while trying to run their business. The voice cast includes Brandon Rogers, Richard Horvitz, Vivian Nixon, Erica Lindbeck, Bryce Pinkham, and Alex Brightman.

Netflix Revives The Inbetweeners with Third Movie and Original Cast
Netflix is bringing back The Inbetweeners for a third movie with the original cast. Catch up on all 18 episodes of the hilarious British comedy before the sequel hits.

Originally launched on Medrano's YouTube channel, Helluva Boss built a cult following over two seasons before being picked up by Prime Video. Critics and fans praise its animation, music, edgy humor, and LGBTQ+ representation. The show just dropped the final episode of its third season, making now the perfect time to binge the entire series.

Scream Queens (2015–2016)

From the minds of Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, Scream Queens is a satirical dark comedy slasher that hilariously deconstructs genre tropes. Season one is set at a fictional university where a sorority, Kappa Kappa Tau, is targeted by a killer in a Red Devil costume. Season two shifts to a hospital, retaining some characters while introducing new ones. The star-studded cast includes Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande, Lea Michele, Glen Powell, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Oliver Hudson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Niecy Nash, Nick Jonas, and Taylor Lautner.

It's been a decade since the show ended, and fans are still hoping for a revival—Ryan Murphy has hinted he's open to it. Scream Queens is a perfect Halloween binge, blending slasher classics with a cast full of familiar faces and pushing both violence and comedy to the limit. It may have only run two seasons on Fox, but it remains one of the best horror-comedy series of the 2010s.

Friday Night Lights (2006–2011)

Developed by Peter Berg as a follow-up to his 2004 film, Friday Night Lights is an iconic sports drama inspired by H.G. Bissinger's 1990 book. Set in the small West Texas town of Dillon, the series centers on the high school football team and the community's triumphs and struggles. Kyle Chandler stars as Coach Eric Taylor, with Connie Britton as his wife Tami, alongside a talented ensemble including Gaius Charles, Zach Gilford, Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki, Taylor Kitsch, Jesse Plemons, Aimee Teegarden, Michael B. Jordan, and Jurnee Smollett.

Though not a ratings juggernaut, Friday Night Lights earned critical acclaim and launched several careers. It tackled weighty issues like school funding, racism, substance abuse, and abortion, making it one of the most respected dramas of the 2000s. The show won three Emmys, a Peabody Award, and an NAACP Image Award during its five-season run.
