John Travolta is trading retirement for one last score in the adrenaline-fueled trailer for The Gentleman Thief. The actor reprises his role as suave art thief Mason Goddard, a heist veteran who thought he'd hung up his gloves for good—until a $100 million painting lures him back into the game. But this time, the stakes are deadly, and the trap is set.

In the trailer, Goddard is enjoying a quiet life with his beloved (Rebecca De Mornay) when his brother Shawn (Lukas Haas) convinces him to take a vacation to sunny Miami. The trip, however, comes with an ulterior motive: a priceless painting stored on an offshore yacht. Goddard and his old crew can't resist the temptation, but they soon find themselves in the crosshairs of a ruthless villain played by Sam Asghari, who promises to be 'the most dangerous man in the world.' The cast also includes Quavo and DJ Khaled, adding star power to the heist.

The 10 Best Epic Movies of the 1950s, Ranked: From Ben-Hur to Seven Samurai
The 1950s delivered some of the most epic movies ever made, from Ben-Hur to Seven Samurai. Here are the best, ranked by spectacle and storytelling.

The Gentleman Thief marks the third and final installment in a trilogy of crime thrillers starring Travolta as Mason Goddard. The journey began with 2024's Cash Out, where Goddard's brother dragged him into a bank robbery that turned out to be an FBI trap—and his partner Amelia Decker (Kristin Davis) was revealed as a mole. The sequel, High Rollers (2025), saw Goddard and Amelia (now played by Gina Gershon) get married, only for her to be kidnapped mid-ceremony by a crime kingpin who demanded a casino heist. Now, in The Gentleman Thief, Goddard faces his most dangerous challenge yet.

Directed by Randall Emmett, who produced The Irishman, the film promises high-octane action and clever twists. Emmett also produced the previous two films, and Travolta serves as a producer alongside Joel Cohen. The executive producer team includes Rick Moore, Jas Mathur, Jake Brander, Henry Winterstern, Arianne Fraser, Delphine Perrier, Daniel M'Causland, and CC Waknine. Vertical Releasing is distributing the film.
