Woodall, who has earned acclaim for his roles in The White Lotus and Netflix's One Day, stars as Niki, a piano tuner with an extraordinary ability: a heightened sense of hearing that makes him a master at tuning Steinways — and cracking safes. When his unique skill catches the attention of criminals, Niki's quiet life spirals into a thrilling, dangerous journey.
Directed by Daniel Roher in his narrative feature debut — following his Oscar-winning documentary Navalny — Tuner is written by Roher and Robert Ramsey. The film premiered at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival to glowing reviews, earning a near-perfect 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics have hailed Woodall's performance as his best yet.
Joining Woodall is Hollywood icon Dustin Hoffman, along with Havana Rose Liu (Bottoms), Lior Raz, Tovah Feldshuh, and Nissan Sakira. The independent production comes from Black Bear and acclaimed producers JoAnne Sellar and Lila Yacoub.
