The vampire sitcom from the minds behind Ghosts is already sinking its teeth into chaos. After the premiere introduced us to the eternally bickering coven led by Charles (Ed Weeks) and Liz (Allegra Edwards), their daughter Emma (Helen J. Shen) accidentally turned her human boyfriend Max (Jaren Lewison) into a vampire. Now, in an exclusive sneak peek from Season 1, Episode 2, titled “Baby Vampire,” the coven learns that babysitting a newborn bloodsucker is no easy task.

The clip opens with the rest of the coven off at their day jobs, leaving Jesse (Parker Young) in charge of watching over Max. But it doesn’t take long for Jesse to drop the ball—literally. His wife, Phyllis (Rose Abdoo), strolls in with a fresh hairdo and a new sweater set, and Jesse is instantly distracted by her “aging like a fine wine” charm. While Liz and Emma roll their eyes at his flimsy excuse, they know they can’t waste time. Max’s vampiric transformation is kicking in, and if they don’t find him soon, he could hurt himself—or worse, blow the coven’s cover.

Stephen King's 'It: Welcome to Derry' Season 2 Won't Haunt Screens Until 2027
HBO's 'It: Welcome to Derry' won't return in 2026. The Stephen King prequel is now slated for a 2027 release, leaving fans waiting longer.

This episode promises to blend the show’s signature humor with a dash of urgency, as the family scrambles to track down their newest member before things get messy. It’s a classic sitcom setup with a supernatural twist, and the chemistry between the cast is already shining through.

Could a Ghosts Crossover Be on the Horizon?

Fans of both shows have been buzzing about a potential crossover, and it seems the creators are just as intrigued. Co-showrunner Joe Wiseman recently told TV Insider that the idea has been discussed, saying, “Yeah, we’ve been talking about that a lot. That’s something that we are excited about doing. So it’s definitely a possibility.”

Since the ghosts in Ghosts are tied to the Woodstone estate, Wiseman noted that any crossover would likely see the coven making a road trip to the B&B. “Since the characters on this show can leave places, it probably would make more sense that a few of them ended up at Woodstone,” he explained.

It wouldn’t be the first time the two worlds have overlapped. Several Eternally Yours cast members, including Edwards and Abdoo, have already appeared on Ghosts, and newly announced guest stars Jeff Hiller and Asif Ali are also Ghosts alums. That shared history makes a crossover feel less like a stretch and more like a natural next step.

For now, fans can enjoy the chaos of “Baby Vampire” and keep their fingers crossed for a future meeting between the undead and the dearly departed.
