What Is 'Toxic' About?
Co-written by Yash and Mohandas, Toxic is a decade-spanning tale of crime and revenge set against the backdrop of Indian colonialism's final days. Yash delivers a powerful dual performance as Raya and Ticket, a father and son on opposite sides of a violent conflict. This is a story about loyalty, morality, and the fight for redemption in a world where power comes at a deadly price.
The film boasts a sprawling runtime of two hours and 48 minutes, but every minute is packed with high-octane action, thanks to legendary stunt designer J.J. Perry (John Wick). The plot follows Raya as he climbs the ranks of a criminal organization in Goa, still under Portuguese rule, just before liberation. As he rises, he discovers that ambition has a dark side, and the true cost of power may be more than he's willing to pay.
Joining Yash are some of India's biggest stars, including Nayanthara (Jawan), Kiara Advani (Kabir Singh), Tara Sutaria (Student of the Year 2), Rukmini Vasanth (Kantara: Chapter 1), and Huma Qureshi (Army of the Dead). With such a stellar cast and a story that blends gritty realism with fairy-tale darkness, Toxic is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated action films of the year.
If you're a fan of gritty action thrillers or crime dramas that keep you guessing, this is one screening you won't want to miss. And if you can't make it to L.A., be sure to keep an eye out for Toxic in theaters or on streaming platforms later. But for now, grab your chance to see it on the big screen with free popcorn and soda โ what's not to love?
Don't forget to RSVP quickly, because these tickets will disappear faster than you can say "fairy tale for grown-ups." We can't wait to see you there!
