Netflix has been on a roll in 2026, delivering a string of hits that have kept subscribers glued to their screens. From the sci-fi spectacle War Machine starring Alan Ritchson to the action-packed The Night Agent with Gabriel Basso, the streamer has proven its staying power. But as one beloved legal drama prepares to bow out, another is stepping in to take its place.
The Lincoln Lawyer, based on Michael Connelly's bestselling novels, has been a cornerstone of Netflix's lineup since 2022. With four seasons under its belt and a fifth and final season slated for early 2027, fans are already bracing for the end. But before that farewell arrives, Netflix is giving viewers a new legal thriller to sink their teeth into: Will Trent.
Starting November 3, 2026, Will Trent will begin streaming on Netflix, bringing its gripping crime-solving drama to a whole new audience. The show, which has been a staple on ABC and available on Hulu and Disney+, stars Ramón Rodríguez as the titular special agent. With its sharp writing and compelling characters, it's poised to fill the void left by The Lincoln Lawyer.
This move is part of a broader partnership between Disney and Netflix that has already brought shows like Percy Jackson and Tracker to the platform. It's a win-win for viewers who want more high-quality drama without juggling multiple subscriptions.
While Will Trent has been renewed for a fifth season, that won't arrive until next year. In the meantime, Netflix subscribers can catch up on earlier seasons starting in November. It's the perfect binge for anyone who loves a good legal or crime thriller.
