The end is near for one of Starz's most gripping crime sagas. Power Book III: Raising Kanan is gearing up for its fifth and final season, and the stakes have never been higher. With just a month to go before the premiere, we've got an exclusive first look at Tony Danza's menacing mob boss, Stefano Marchetti, who is far from finished despite a near-fatal attack.

Best known for his beloved sitcom roles in Taxi and Who's the Boss?, Danza has reinvented himself as a chilling figure in the Power universe. Since joining the series at the end of Season 2, his Stefano has ruled as the godfather of New York's Italian mafia, demanding a cut of every deal in the five boroughs. But his partnership with Marvin (London Brown) and Raq (Patina Miller) proved disastrous—a move he himself called "the worst decision" he ever made.

Exclusive First Look: J.K. Simmons Rules Hell's Kitchen in MGM+ Crime Thriller 'The Westies'
J.K. Simmons stars as ruthless Irish-American gang leader Eamon Sweeney in MGM+'s upcoming crime drama 'The Westies.' See the first image and learn what to expect.

That decision came back to haunt him in the Season 4 finale, when rival Phil Russo (Paul Ben-Victor) stabbed Stefano in the chest and left him for dead. But as our exclusive image reveals, the don has survived—and he's ready to unleash his fury. The still shows Stefano looking frail but alert, with a steely glare that promises a brutal reckoning. Russo's entire operation is now in the crosshairs.

Stefano's return to form is bad news for Russo, but it also spells trouble for Kanan Stark (Mekai Curtis), who is trying to carve out his own empire. With Unique (Joey Bada$$) now aligned against him, Kanan could get caught in the crossfire of a full-scale mob war. And as if one crime boss wasn't enough, Season 5 introduces Joe Pantoliano as Pino Bernardi, the head of the Manhattan mafia and a direct rival to Stefano's power. The clash of these titans will undoubtedly shape Kanan's dangerous path forward.

Meanwhile, the season picks up right after that shocking finale cliffhanger: did Kanan pull the trigger on his own mother, Raq? Fans will get an immediate answer. This final chapter follows Kanan as he fully embraces his ruthless side, forming a powerful alliance with Southside legend Breeze, played by Spider-Verse star Shameik Moore. Together, they aim to take over the Queens drug trade, but sacrifices are inevitable. The Thomas family will shatter, and shadowy figures will maneuver behind the scenes.

Creator Sascha Penn returns as showrunner for the final season, though she's already moving on to helm the upcoming Power: Origins series, which will follow a young Ghost and Tommy. Mekai Curtis will also reprise his role as Kanan, serving as a guide to that new chapter.
