When Shoresy first introduced the loud-mouthed, trash-talking Shore (Jared Keeso) as a foil to the beloved characters Jonesy and Riley, no one predicted he'd become the breakout star of the Letterkenny universe. But here we are, with the spin-off heading into its sixth season and now expanding into the gaming world. Shore would probably say he saw it coming all along.

The latest season of Shoresy, which dropped on December 25 last year, became the show's most-watched season ever, boasting a 36% viewership bump compared to Season 4. That success made it a no-brainer for Crave to renew the comedy for Season 6, which is currently filming in Sudbury, Ontario. But fans don't have to wait until the holidays to get their fix—they can now step onto the ice with the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs in a whole new way.

Severance Surges on Apple TV+ Charts as Season 3 Looms
Apple TV+'s mind-bending thriller Severance is climbing the streaming charts again, driven by its devoted fanbase and buzz for the upcoming third season.

Last year, the Shoresy team hit the road for a North American tour, playing exhibition games in eight cities. The Shoresy Fall Classic was a hit, with several venues selling out. But for those who couldn't catch the action live, New Metric Media had something special in the works: Shoresy: The NOSHO, an arcade-style hockey RPG that blends fast-paced gameplay with the show's signature humor and attitude. Now officially titled Shoresy: Legends of the North, the game has been available on Steam and Nintendo Switch since earlier this year, and as of October 21, it's also on Xbox Series X|S, with a PlayStation 5 release following on October 24.

Two Ways to Play

Legends of the North offers two distinct modes. In Story Mode, players create their own character and join Shore and the Bulldogs on a cross-country quest to take down the legendary Hockey Godz. Each opponent brings a unique rink, special abilities, and fresh challenges. As you progress, you'll level up your character and unlock new gear, all while experiencing an original narrative crafted specifically for the game.

For those who prefer a more competitive edge, Shinny Mode lets you draft teams of familiar Shoresy characters and face off in local multiplayer. Inspired by classic arcade sports titles, this mode combines accessible controls with the series' trademark physicality and trash talk. Charge up the fight meter to knock out rivals or grab power-ups to gain an advantage in this PvP mode, which also supports Steam Remote Play for online matches.

The game's release on consoles comes at a perfect time for fans eager for more Shoresy content. Season 6 is expected to premiere on December 25 on Crave in Canada, with a U.S. debut on Hulu slated for 2027. While you wait, you can dive into the world of the Bulldogs and experience the chaos firsthand.
