Gregg Araki, the filmmaker known for pushing boundaries, is back with I Want Your Sex, a provocative exploration of modern romance and sexual ethics. After a theatrical run in July, the film is now available on 4K, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital. And for those who prefer a little preview before diving in, we've got an exclusive clip featuring the film's two leads, Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman.

The movie centers on Elliot Bell (Hoffman, from Licorice Pizza), a directionless Gen Z slacker whose girlfriend (played by pop star Charli XCX) is fed up with his lack of ambition. To help pay rent, he takes a job assisting avant-garde artist Erika Tracy (Wilde), alongside the charismatic Zap (Mason Gooding). Elliot, who is naturally submissive, finds himself irresistibly drawn to Erika's dominant personality. What begins as a working relationship quickly spirals into a psychosexual entanglement that threatens to consume them both.

Quarter Trailer: Brooke Shields-Produced Comedy Tackles Diabetes and a Quarter-Life Crisis
Kelsey Bascom's Quarter follows a young diabetic who rethinks her life after a near-death scare. Brooke Shields executive produces.

Araki co-wrote the script with Karley Sciortino, his collaborator on the TV series Now Apocalypse. The film dives headfirst into the complexities of desire, power, and the ever-shifting rules of engagement between the sexes.

In our exclusive clip, Elliot and Erika engage in a candid conversation about their respective generations' attitudes toward sex. Elliot, representing Gen Z, is anxious and overly cautious, constantly worried about consent and crossing lines. He explains that his generation was raised to avoid discomfort at all costs. Erika, a millennial, takes a more liberated approach, urging Elliot to embrace pleasure and live in the moment. She's baffled by his preference for porn and video games over real human connection, while he's clearly overwhelmed by the fantasies she inspires.

The film has struck a chord with critics, earning a 92% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Collider's own Ross Bonaime called it "an essential sex comedy for this current generation," praising its ability to balance humor and heart while tackling timely themes.

If you're curious about the chemistry between Wilde and Hoffman, or just want to see Araki's unflinching take on modern love, I Want Your Sex is now available to own or stream. And for more on the film's themes, check out our take on another recent exploration of sexual dynamics.
