Josh Lucas, the actor who brought a younger John Dutton to life on Yellowstone, is trading the ranch for the courtroom. He's officially joined the cast of Discretion, a new legal thriller heading to Paramount+ that's already generating serious buzz.
Lucas will play Greg, a lawyer and the husband of Nicole Kidman's character—a powerful corporate law partner at a prestigious firm caught in a web of non-disclosure agreements. The series, from A24, is being written and executive produced by Chandler Baker, with Susannah Grant also executive producing. Kidman and Per Saari are producing via Blossom Films, alongside Elle and Dakota Fanning, Brittany Kahan Ward, Joe Hipps, and Jordan Cerf.
This marks Lucas's first major TV role since his turn as Douglas Darby Dellacorte-Simmons in the Kristen Wiig-led Palm Royale. Of course, he's best known to audiences for his emotionally complex portrayal of a young John Dutton in Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone universe—a role that showcased his ability to capture the character's vulnerability and grit.
