Collider is thrilled to exclusively debut a sneak peek from Dutton Ranch Episode 4, titled “Start With a Bullet,” premiering Friday, May 29 on Paramount+ and airing the same day on Paramount Network at 8 p.m. ET/PT. In this clip, Rip is gearing up for a confrontation—because when isn't he?—and he's giving his two new ranch hands, Azul (J.R. Villarreal) and Zachariah (Marc Manchaca), an out. He won't hold it against them if they choose not to ride with him. But this is Rip Wheeler. The man ride-or-die was invented for.
The episode finds Beth and Rip dealing with devastating losses on the ranch, forcing them into drastic measures as their new life in Texas grows more dangerous by the day. Meanwhile, Beulah tightens her grip on a rebellious Oreana, sparking a power struggle, and Carter drifts toward trouble. It's just another chaotic week in the Yellowstone universe.
For those new to the franchise, Dutton Ranch follows Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they start fresh in Texas after losing their Montana ranch. The cast also includes Annette Bening as Beulah, Ed Harris as Everett, and Jai Courtney as Rob-Will. The official synopsis teases: “As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together—far from the ghosts of Yellowstone—they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”
