Animation, DC, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment are set to release Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall next month, the first installment of a trilogy based on the landmark comic event. A Stormy Night at Wayne Manor
Our exclusive footage opens on a dark and stormy night at Wayne Manor. Bruce Wayne discovers Tim Drake and Alfred Pennyworth unconscious on the floor. The culprit? Bane, who has tracked Batman to his home. In a chilling monologue, Bane calls the Caped Crusader a crutch and the "weakness that drowns this city." The two prepare to fight, but Bruce is clearly outmatched. Despite his size, Bane is agile, landing devastating blows while shrugging off Batman's attacks. The hero is forced to retreat with smoke bombs, but Bane knows where he's going—and he intends to break him.
This adaptation brings together an impressive cast. Anson Mount (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) voices Bruce Wayne, while Michael Mando (MCU's Scorpion) takes on the role of Bane. Pablo Schreiber (Halo) joins as Jean-Paul Valley, the man trained to step in when Bruce falls. Directed by Jeff Wamester and written by Jeremy Adams, the film promises to honor the source material while delivering fresh thrills.
