Sam Worthington and Britt Lower are teaming up for Netflix's latest Harlan Coben adaptation, I Will Find You, a gripping thriller that promises twists, conspiracies, and emotional gut-punches. While Worthington is known for blockbuster action franchises like Avatar and Clash of the Titans, and Lower has earned acclaim for her Emmy-winning turn in Apple TV+'s Severance, both actors bring their A-game to this tense mystery.

The series follows David (Worthington), a man imprisoned for the murder of his young son, Matthew, despite his unwavering claims of innocence. His world is upended when his sister-in-law, Rachel (Lower), visits him in prison and shows him a photo of a boy who looks exactly like Matthew. What follows is a desperate prison break, a nationwide manhunt, and a web of dangerous secrets that challenge everyone's trust.

Netflix's 'Wayward' Turns Real-Life Teen Reform Horrors into a Must-Watch Thriller
Netflix's 'Wayward' blends mystery and horror with real-life abuses in troubled teen programs, creating a binge-worthy thriller that's both entertaining and eye-opening.

In a recent interview, Lower opened up about the key differences between Rachel and her Severance character, Helly. While both women are strong and determined, Lower noted that Rachel is far more grounded in reality. "Helly exists in this surreal, corporate nightmare, but Rachel is dealing with very real, painful family dynamics," she explained. "Rachel is also less aware of her own impact on others, especially her ex-boyfriend Hayden, which creates a fascinating tension."

Worthington, meanwhile, discussed his approach to playing David, a character forced into an impossible Sophie's Choice situation in Episode 6. "I thought we could push it even more emotionally," he admitted. "He makes a crazy choice, not knowing what's around the corner. I play off other actors—if I'm surrounded by great talent, it helps me get better."

The actor also reflected on his career trajectory, noting that he's drawn to action heroes with a vulnerable core. "It's all about hard muscle and soft muscle," he said. "I'm exploring masculinity in a way I didn't see growing up. What are these characters hiding? What's on the outside impacting the inside? That conflict is what interests me."

Lower also shared how she built chemistry with co-star Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Hayden. "We both have Airstreams and bonded over winterizing our trailers," she laughed. "The relationship between Rachel and Hayden is unique—they stayed friends after breaking up. Playing with how much Rachel is aware of being 'the one who got away' was intriguing."

For fans of addictive thriller shows, I Will Find You delivers the signature Coben blend of family secrets and high-stakes suspense. With a stellar cast and a story that keeps you guessing, it's a must-watch for anyone who loves a good mystery.

Both actors praised Coben's ability to craft layered characters. "His stories are never just about the plot—they're about the people," Lower said. "That's what drew me to this project."

I Will Find You is now streaming on Netflix.
