The 9-1-1 franchise has built a reputation for jaw-dropping, multi-episode disasters that turn every season premiere into a cinematic event. From train derailments to volcanic eruptions, the original series has set the bar high. Now, the cast of 9-1-1: Nashville is dreaming big about what kind of catastrophe they'd love to tackle next.

In a recent chat with Collider's Maggie Lovitt on Collider Set Stories, stars Hailey Kilgore and Juani Feliz opened up about their ideal emergency. While the spin-off has already thrown a tornado and stadium collapse at viewers in its debut season, the duo is thinking even bigger.

Lupin Season 4 has climbed back into Netflix's top 10, reaffirming its status as a global favorite. Omar Sy's charm and the show's stylish action continue to captivate.

A Tsunami-Sized Ambition

Kilgore, who plays a key role in the Nashville firehouse, admitted she's a huge fan of the original show's tsunami storyline from Season 3. That arc, which spanned multiple episodes, remains one of the most beloved and talked-about emergencies in 9-1-1 history. "One of my favorite rescues/episodes from the original 9-1-1 is the tsunami episode," she said.

Feliz echoed that sentiment, calling the tsunami "very epic." But for Kilgore, the appeal isn't just the spectacle—it's the challenge. She loves the idea of the team being separated and forced to rely on their instincts and training when communication breaks down. "Something like that, where something epic has taken over this city—like a natural disaster type of thing. And all of us first responders are just living in our life; we feel like, 'I need to go out there and save people.' That's cool," Feliz added.

What's Next for the Nashville Crew

While a tsunami might be a stretch for landlocked Tennessee, the show is already delivering high-stakes drama this week. In the upcoming episode, a blinding agent strikes during a pollen storm, leaving Blythe and others critically ill. The team races to find a cure and the source, while Sam and Roxie perform an emergency heart transplant. Meanwhile, Blythe stumbles onto Sam's secret.

It's exactly the kind of intense, character-driven storytelling that has made the 9-1-1 franchise a hit. And with the cast already dreaming of even bigger disasters, fans can only hope the writers are listening.
